Archbishop Mosul di Irak : Kami Tidak Akan Meninggalkan Kristus

Mor Nicodemus Daoud Sharaf, Archbishop Mosul di Irak menangis dalam sebuah interview saat menjelaskan penderitaan orang-orang Kristen di Irak. Untuk pertama kalinya dalam 1500 tahun mereka tidak bisa menggunakan gereja yang mereka biasa gunakan selama ini untuk beribadah yaitu Gereja St. Shmuni. Kali ini mereka harus beribadah di luar Gereja mereka.

Tapi dengan tegar dia mengatakan : "But we are happy so happy for one thing onlu, all these thing happening to us, and what will happen more ( in future) : We are not leaving for our Christianity and we are not leaving our faith and we have the honor that we are the children of the martyrs. We have the honor that everything happen to us just because we are Christians. This is an honor for us. They think that all these will let us give up, but we say to them: that all these (persecutions) will make us more attached  to our faith deeply.
